Maitreya’s feet, Basgo, Ladakh, 2007. Maitreya is the future Buddha, his images are almost always constructed on a huge scale. This one is 14m tall.
Maitreya Buddha at the Jampa Lhakhang temple, Lhasa, Tibet, 2002. This old two storied temple on the Barkhor contains several Buddha statues and huge butter lamps.
Bodnath Stupa at night, Kathmandu, Nepal, 2002. The great Stupa at Bodnath is a focal point for Tibetans living in the Kathmandu valley.
