A set of 8 postcards of photographs mostly from the culturally Tibetan Buddhist areas of Ladakh and Spiti in northern India.
There are two copies of each card. In the order they appear:
A beautiful stupa and prayer flag at the entrance to the Pin valley, near the confluence with the Spiti river, Spiti, India, 2006.
A small statue of Tara in a shrine at the entrance to the village of Demul, Spiti, 2006.
Wallpainting of Tara in the Leh valley, Ladakh, India, 2012. There are several wayside shrines in the valley, unusually this one has a painting of a standing Tara.
Detail of a wallpainting of Avalokiteshvara in the Leh valley, Ladakh, India, 2012. One of several shrines in the Leh valley containing painted images of Avalokiteshvara, Manjushri and Vajrapani.
